Education/Research/Focus Area

The purpose of the creation of ENSEA was to ensure that Cote d'Ivoire contributes to the achievement of the goals set in 2013 by the African Heads of States to build Capacity in statistics in order to measure and evaluate the performance and the effectiveness of policies. The main focus of ENSEA is to raise a human capital capable of addressing the challenges of Statistics in Africa by means of having an initial training and the development of personnel and agents of the statistical services. ENSEA tends to achieve its objectives by using the means of training, research. , partnering with international institutes, similar Institutes, States and companies as well as local companies. The Centre has put in place measures such as focusing on the training of staff and students, extending knowledge to other countries including the Anglophone countries , ensuring many women participate in the training sessions , focusing on technical and financial partnerships , learning English and many other , thus to achieve its goals.
