Education/Research/Focus Area

The establishment of this Centre of Excellence within the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences will project the University of Jos as a regional leader in the study, promotion, research capacity building and expertise development in phytomedicine. This will promote scholarship in the knowledge and application of ethnomedicine. The Centre would promote collaboration and entrepreneurship, which will raise the level of awareness of ethnomedicine research and ethical issues.
